Today was also 96 degrees, hotter than it's been all summer.

So, I was inspired...

Introducing... WRIST COOLERS!

Sewn on directly above the vein is a pouch packed full of uncooked rice.
ARMCANDY!

One of my current swaps is the Sweets Swap, where we send our partner things related to their favorite treats. Dexterchickk, my partner, was ridiculously vague about what she wants, so I'm doing whatever I feel like. :P

I love this so much, and want to keep it for myself...

Candy button armwarmers!

I've only done the one for the right arm, and the other one will probably be color-coordinating but different patterned. n__n

On a less happy note... After we were assigned partners for the swap, I messaged mine asking her to clarify some of her vague requests. It's been almost a week, and she hasn't responded back. I do hope she hasn't flaked on me... She's only finished one swap before, so it's not unlikely that she flaked. *whimper*
Wish list! To assist myself (and others) in swaps.

-More flavors of cupcake hats
-Other funky hats (knit or otherwise)
-Jayne hat
-Messanger bag for my crafting materials
-Felted soap
-Fork or toothbrush bracelet (so cool!)
-A panta!
-Knit armwarmers/wristwarmers (now I have teal armwarmers, I need some other colors!)
-A pillow of the face of Valentine from Mirrormask
-A laptop case!

About me:
-My favorite color is teal (looks great with bright yellow, black, and pretty much anything else.)
-I love dandelions, even though they are weeds.
-The hedgehog is my favorite animal, not to be confused with the porcupine, which isn't nearly as cute.
-I LOVE dark chocolate, gummy candy, and all other kinds of sweets and snacks. I cannot chew gum, and I hate the flavors of banana, bubblegum, and licorice.
-In my free time I enjoy reading, crafting, and playing Shartak.
-My favorite movies are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Mirrormask, Serenity, and Unconditional Love.
-My favorite TV shows are Lost, Firefly, and Family Guy.
-I do not have pierced ears.
-I love Dr. Seuss, and my favorite of his books is The Lorax. <3
-I love science fiction movies, books, and conventions. Some authors I like are Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, and Isaac Asimov.
-I'm not a girly girl; my style is hard to define, as I wear whatever is comfortable and I think looks neat. For instance, I love my cupcake hat, even though it is far from the height of fashion. On an average day, I wear jeans and a t-shirt. I like shirts with catchy phrases and interesting pictures (not cutesy-girly, unless you count cupcakes as cutesy-girly).
-I consider myself a liberal/I do not support Bush.
-I am very open minded, and will usually argue in favor of the losing side, in a debate. (Or if the people on one side are being particularly ignorant, I feel it is my duty to enlighten them to the views of the other side.)
-I'm not big on clutches and other purses that require a strong grip; for some reason I'll drop whatever I'm holding, and not realize it until the item is lost forever. Purses with a messenger bag type strap are best.
-I don't like flowery scents that get my allergies going. Mint, and citrusy scents are best, but anything without artificial fragrance is probably okay.
-I like something from every genre of music, but for the most part I stay away from country, jazz, and rap. I love 80's music, and bands like Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, and They Might Be Giants.
-My brother has a severe peanut/nut allergy, so I try not to have anything around that has nuts. (Candy and food are fine, I can just take it out of the house. But no lotions or soaps or anything with nuts.)EDIT: I am now at college. Now all this stuff is fine, except the lotions and soaps still.

Some good item themes...
-Candy/foodstuffs
-Lost
-Dr. Seuss
-Shartak
-Eternal Sunshine
-Mirrormask
-Something with the phrase "I believe in condiments" (note: I do not believe in putting ketchup on hot dogs.)
-Dandelions
-Firefly/Serenity
-They Might Be Giants (referencing Them or lyrics to any of their songs)

Sizes:
-My neck is 12-13 inches around.
-I wear a small adults shirt, but in the typical girlshirt, I wear a large. (I'm busty, yep.)
-I wear a 7-7.5 size shoes.
-I have tiny wrists.
